My Bio
I am a multi-talented business executive with strong debt capital markets and investment banking skills. I enjoy analysing complex global situations and arriving at practical insights. This proved an essential trait as I worked on transactions which attracted over US$35 billion of capital to Sub-Saharan Africa during my 12 year investment banking career at J.P.Morgan. This experience gave me a passion for finance, and a deep appreciation for its transformative effect on addressing the developmental challenges we face across the continent. This, combined with a strong interest in technology, prompted me to pivot my career: I currently serve as Chief Operating Officer of the Sasai Super App, a pioneering mobile application built to deliver innovative financial and digital media services across Africa.

I am well-travelled across Africa, Europe, the US, Latin America and Asia, and believe a global perspective alongside local innovation can create unique solutions. I believe cooperating even as we compete in the global marketplace will help humanity create better outcomes overall.

I regard myself as a strategic thinker and collaborative executive with excellent technical and analytical acumen. The vision I’ve set for my career is to help create innovative solutions that will build a brighter and more inclusive future for Africa.
Learner
As a lifelong learner, I recently completed an Executive Masters Degree in Digital Transformation and Innovation from IE University (Spain). I also have a Bachelor of Commerce Degree in Finance and Economics from the University of the Witwatersrand (South Africa).
Epicure
My favourite interests include music (especially jazz), tennis, golf, hiking, art, being a foodie, photography and reading. These activities tend to inspire much of my leisure travel around the world and prompt me to be creative and curious.
